It’s Cidermaking weekend at Hacksburg!

On Sunday, October 23th we’ll be hosting our 8th Annual Hacksburg Cider Making Event. Bring your own apples and containers and join us to make your own fresh squeezed apple cider. Click here for more information about cidermaking and what to bring! Cider making is free!

Free tours of the new Hacksburg community workshop will also be offered.

Hacksburg is a makerspace. Makerspaces are community spaces with tools and people who love to create and tinker with everything from electronics, wood, metal, sewing to home brew! Come check out our community of makers.

Hacksburg is Blacksburg's first community makerspace. We're graciously hosted by the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center at 1872 Pratt Drive, Suite 1620.

To get in, first try going around to the back and knocking on the double doors. Someone will come around to let you in.

Makerspaces (also known as hackerspaces) are community-oriented workshops where people share physical and intellectual resources. Hacksburg is a place to collaborate, a place to learn, and a place to work on projects that you might not be able to work on at home.
