Hacksburg

Hacksburg members get 24/7 access to our space and tools.
To become a member, follow these steps:

1. Read and agree to the Space Rules and Community Agreement.
2. Print and complete a Membership Application and Liability Release.
3. Attend a weekly meeting (Tuesdays at 7:30pm) or arrange a meeting with a Hacksburg board member to hand off your completed forms and take a tour of the space.
   • Note: You must present a government-issued photo ID with your name, street address, and date of birth when submitting your forms. To receive discounted student pricing, you must also present an active student ID.
4. Create an account through our online portal.
5. Pay your membership fee using card, cash, or check.
   • Debit and credit card payments are accepted via our online portal. We recommend and prefer digital payments for membership dues.
   • Cash and check payments are only accepted in person.
   • Although Hacksburg is a 501(c)(3) organization, membership fees are not tax deductible.
6. Get keycard access to Hacksburg (we can activate your Hokie Passport or create a new card for you).

Membership Rates Memberships are subscription-based and will auto renew at the end of each membership term. You can unsubscribe at any time, at which point your membership will remain active until the end of your current membership term. Note: discounted student pricing is available to anyone with an active student ID.

Student Membership

Group Membership Group membership is designed for organizations, formal or informal, that would like a space to work and meet. Groups receive one key to share among up to six group members designated on the application. Groups may host additional members in the space by paying for extra keys.
